Rocky McGaugh
anyway, i just wanted to publicly thank François Pinard for his work on GNU tar and the other projects he's worked on.
Thanks a lot, Rocky. I sometimes received appreciation marks from happy
users, and these make my day every time. I've electronically met a great
lot of wonderful people in that whole adventure, and this has been the
most unexpected and gratifying aspect of this experience. I also found
a few very dependable friends which became dear to me over the years!

I agree all of you said. Richard Stallman is my hero. ;-)
Richard and I collaborated, but also fought, for quite a long time now. My feelings are a bit more circumstanciated than yours :-). A few weeks ago, Richard came nearby I live, and suggested that we try to meet face to face, for a first time. We are indeed _very_ different humans! In many and various ways, absolutely no doubt that GNU changed my life! I could write novells about it :-).
