Greetings!
After rebuilding my server and re-installing SuSE 6.3, I hit a snag while configuring Samba. When I was using Windows 98, all I had to do was set "encrypt passwords = yes" and accessing my home directory worked fine. Since my I now have Windows 98 Second Edition on my windows machine, "encrypt = passwords = yes" doesn't work. I had to change the registry to revert back to plain text passwords to be able view my home directory.
Did something change with Windows 98 SE? And do I need to get the latest version of Samba to have encrypted passwords?
Thanks!
