Is BOGO Mips a rating that can check for two processors running (multi-threaded)? I guess I would find one AMD faster than one PIII, but not two. :-)
It's a timing routine for the kernel, it has little if anything to do with processor power and it varies between processor types. I think there is a bogomips howto or mini howto that should be on the CD's if you want more info. Tim --
