Even though this sint a response to the question that was just asked. with regards to the Abit bp6 Motherboard -----Original Message----- From: Dennis Soper [mailto:dsoper@clipper.net] Sent: 11 May 2000 00:21 To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: [SLE] Abit BP6 Questions Hi all, Thanks for the advice on the Tangent MB. Anyway, I think I'm going to turn it into a server at work-- I'm gonna try NDS for Linux (I've got Netware already), and if that doesn't work out I'll turn it into a Samba server. Anyway, Intel donated the university I work at *hundreds* of Celeron-366s, new retail models, still in the box. Free sounds like a pretty good deal to me, so I picked up a couple today-- I can buy a pretty obscene amount of RAM for the price of a Coppermine :) . So, anyone have any opinions on the Abit BP6? I'm thinking 256MB RAM, IBM Deskstar 7200 rpm, and a Voodoo3 video card. I'm also going to need to run Crash 9x under VMware on the box. Finally, I've got 6.3 and am very happy. Any reason to get 6.4?
