I have my linux machine networked to a windows 95 and windows 98 and windows 2000 machines. Whenever I put in the ip address into the Internet explorer browser I get the webpage of my server. However, if I put in the servers name I get an error that says it can not be found. How do I fix this problem?
Sounds to me like a name resolution error.. Try looking at your DNS settings or wack in a perminant IP to Name entry on your Windows box.
