I just upgraded my P120 processor (Intel AN430TX mobo) using an Evergreen Spectra 400 that has an AMD K6-2 400mhz chip on it. After the upgrade and after flashing the BIOS with the latest version, BIOS reports that it has a 300mhz chip on it. I run KDE and used the Control Center to look at the hardware information and it reports that it has a 400mhz processor (correctly identifies that it's AMD K6-2 also). How will I truly know that Linux recognizes that it's using a 400 mhz processor? Is there a software I can use to confirm this? I'm using a SuSE 6.2 installation . . .
