I just recently got an Epson Stylus 740 to work. Setting up a printer can be a complicated process. Many of your questions can be answered using the SuSE support database on their website. First use Yast "configure printers" and select "stcolor". Assuming it's a parallel port printer, then make sure in your BIOS setup the parallel port is set to IO378/IRQ7. Do that and test with a short file: $ lpr shortfile. Let us know. Phil ~ I've tried several things to get my printer working can someone help. The model is a Epson Photo Stylus 750.
