It's definately installed but that did not work. In 6.2 all i had to do was startx ***** and the wm would work whats the prob?
I didn't think that would work. One thing to check is your .xinitrc in your home directory. You didn't say what was in .xinitrc. Comment out startkde and put in exec windowmaker or whichever wm you like. I've only been using kdm recently so I can't help you beyond that. Greg
if you ls /usr/X11R6/bin/en* and it doesn't show enlightenment, then it isn't installed. if it is then do a cd to that directory and try your startx from there.

Last week I did a ftp install of 6.3 first time i've done that and it was great....... I didn't have any problems with 6.2 with startx but with 6.3 when I do startx only kde will come up even if i do a startx enlightenment or a startx windowmaker I know they are installed properly. I've looked at rcconfig initrc etc what do I have to do to get this to work properly. It's not that I don't like kde I do I use it alot but I also use windowmaker and enlightenment. Any info much appreciated Ian
BTW I just compiled kernel 2.3.99 with netatalk support and now it's on our mac network very coool.
