Is there any way that I can make linux look at irq 12 for my ttyS3? At present I only have ttyS0 and ttyS3 enabled at irq 4 and 3 respectively. S0 is my mouse and S3 is my internal modem, I would like to enable S1 and make that irq 3 (which is generally default for that anyway) and to make S3 be irq 12 as it is the only one I have available. The modem even has that as an option for the jumpers.
Try using the setserial command. the manpage for it should give you all the help you need including making it happen automatically at boot up. This should work in any case (my modem is on ttyS3 irq 10 and I have no problems): setserial /dev/ttyS3 irq 12 Good luck, David Bellows -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
