Is there any way that I can make linux look at irq 12 for my ttyS3? At present I only have ttyS0 and ttyS3 enabled at irq 4 and 3 respectively. S0 is my mouse and S3 is my internal modem, I would like to enable S1 and make that irq 3 (which is generally default for that anyway) and to make S3 be irq 12 as it is the only one I have available. The modem even has that as an option for the jumpers. The problem is, I went and enabled S1 in the bios and changed the jumper on my modem to set it to irq 12. Now when I boot up it says that both S1 and S3 are at irq 3. One thing I did notice in the bios is that there is a section where you can set your irq's, ie, PCI, PnP, and what not, but 12 is not in that list. In windows and linux it is shown as being available. ( I don't really even know why I still have windows on this machine any more ) Is there any way that I can make it mork?
