Netscape 4.7 or better yet 4.72 appears to have cleared up this problem. 4.7 is available with SuSE 6.3, and you can download 4.72 with 128 bit encryption from the netscape site. It downloads as a tarball and is very easy to install. I'm using it now, and wonder of wonders, I leave it running for days at a time. Try that with 4.61! Java appears to work correctly, also. I'm using SuSE 6.2. I very much like Netscape's products, but am plagued with almost non-stop freezes. I guess these are memory leaks. I actually have to reboot to regain use of Netscape. And, the question is: what is the best remedy for this age-old problem?
What version of Mozilla comes with SuSE 6.4? Is it stable?
