I'm using a Compaq Armada 1540D laptop computer and have some problems with the pcmcia utility. After installing this feature and rebooting the system it just freezes at: "PCMCIA: Starting Services:" Then, after a few minutes, the system just reboots. Then again at the line PCMCIA: Starting Services the system hangs again. It's in a loop of rebooting everytime it wants to start the pcmcia feature. Only thing I can do is to remove the pcmcia utility and then everything works fine. But I'd like to use this in order to make connection to the outside world... Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem? A friend of mine gave me the advice to edit a line in /etc/rc.config: "PCMCIA_PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=3,5,7,9,10" This seems to work for him but I still have these reboots... ----- Email: jubo@euronet.nl jubo@chello.nl -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
