Hello, I want to extract the file webfonts.exe from an rpm. This file contains TrueType fonts, and I want to unzip it to get them. The rpm creates directories for TrueType fonts etc, and I don't want all that. Just need the file. I looked at man and Linux in a Nutshell. Can it be done?
Hi George, use "midnight commander" mc for that. It can look into tar.gz, rpm and goodness knows what files. ;-) After that, select the file and copy it. This will unpack it.
