Hi everyone I have compiled the kernel for my Suse 6.3 and included the scsi emulation. I have now two folded question why my dmesg shows I have 8 scsci generics how do I make this device to point to a node lets say cdwriter? csi0 : SCSI host adapter emulation for IDE ATAPI devices scsi : 1 host.
