I had the same problem with the the latest version, I edited my rc2.d/S03pcmcia file to include a 'sleep 15' command to allow a pause at the end to allow it time to initialize the eth0 before tryingn to bring the network up behind it. Just a thought. Can you do a 'pcmcia restart' and then a 'rcnetwork restart' and bring the network up?

Okay, I compiled a 2.2.14 kernel and installed the latest version of PC Card Services. Now it sees both slots and detects the SCSI card beautifully, but it refuses to load the network module. On bootup, I get "eth0 - module not found." I aliased the module in /etc/conf.modules and it still does it. Any ideas? Could I have left something out of the kernel?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
