I have some problems with an email soulution. I use fetchmail to get email for a domain trough a multidrop mailbox at an Internet Provider. Locally it delivers the mail to qmail. Sometimes it happens that a domain name doesn't exist. I'm not sure, but it seems that qmail checks to see not only the sender's domain name, but also other receipients'. Anyway, it happens, and unfortunately fetchmail leaves this email in the provider's mailbox, and all the following emails too, until someone manually deletes the email or otherwise removes the problem. Can qmail be softened to not being so hard on missing domain names? Can fetchmail be told to pick up the other emails? The other problem has to do with mailing lists. It seems that the email address of the receiver is chumped somewhere on the way, so all email from mailing lists are sent to the local postmasterm who's getting tired of receiving tons of email per day.
