I was quite flattered to see that SuSE distributes my `recode' program. :-) If you feel adventurous or need Asian conversions, you might recompile and install http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/recode/recode-3.5c.tar.gz, which is more meant for pretesters than for production.
