Did you upgrade the pcmcia package as well as the kernel ? I have 2.2.13
and pcmcia_cs for the 6.3 set & my Fujitsu Lifebook (Intel PCIC controller)
works fine, as does APM. The pcmcia_cs version is dependent on the kernel,
2.2.13 requires pcmcia_cs 3.0.13 -see /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes
for details. Did you also upgrade apmd ?
I upgraded my laptop from 6.2 to 6.3, but now I regret it.
6.2 uses the 2.2.10 kernel and 6.3 uses 2.2.13.
Of course I chose the APM kernel, just like with 6.2, but! then it hangs
during startup, when trying to load PCMCIA modules (i82365.o) :-(
The same module works fine in 2.2.10. Why this problem?
