I have an X server for MS Winblows NT (Nasty Technology) and it only supports rsh and rexec for starting x-apps - i've tried to get rshd to run and it doesn't seem to cooperative, so I decided to try rexecd (found it in /usr/sbin/in.rexecd - BTW why do they prefix some things with 'in.') so I run 'in.rexecd' and I recieve the error "rexecd: getpeername: Socket operation on non-socket" - It sound to me like a bad compile, but I haven't been working with SuSE long enough to really figure it out (I'm an HP-UX man - but those things cost too much to have one at home) - Has anyone out there enabled rexecd on at SuSE 6.3 system - If so how? Thanks, Chris Park (PS the man page under bugs says "Do not enable rexecd." - That doesn't -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
