Can one have a static dial up connection as well as a dynmic cable connection then run a local lan all at once? Reason for this. i have my own static ip and domain name thru a 24x7 dial up connection. as it is dail-up i'm limited to 33.6 for speed. I wish to keep this as all my mail and kids mail come to that machine. I got a cable thing put in today, but it is the *&&%# win machine. I will move it to this linux machine shortly. As this cable has the speed but it is a dynmic address that changes ever 48 hours so they say. Then i want to set up the internal lan so the win and linux machine can talk as they sort of do now. I want my mail to still come a go thru the dial-up but all other traffic to go thru the cable. Is this possible? Or should i be happy with one or the other. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
