I guess the got SuSE from "Gesellschaft für Software- und Systementwicklung mbH" in some differant way than what I ussually think out. Maybe it is a German way of doing it where I just can't firgure it out. How they "extracted" SuSE from there Full German name.
The company SuSE is called a "GmbH", a "Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung", the german term for "private limited company". Including the name it would be "Gesellschaft für Software- und Systementwicklung mbH"
This is were SuSE comes from:
S - Software u - und S - System E - Entwicklung (Development)
I hope this clears this issue up.
