I don't know how SuSE packaged the 6.3 distribution, but I suppose someone ought to speak up about the packaging of 6.2. It comes in a cardboard folder with slots for the 6 CDROMs that comprise the distribution.

Hell yea. Ever see the SuSE Linux 5.3 distro packaging? That is some sweet little plastic CD-ROM case their my freind. Nothing better packaged then the 5.3, hands down, that is the good old days. 6.3 has the card board to, it also gets fibers on the back of the CD-ROMs. The issuse that is casing SuSE to move to cardboard I bet is that plastic for 6 CD-ROMs would be really BULKLY and would drive up the price of packaging to the customer. How are you going to make a 6 CD-ROM plastic case?

I would be more than happy to pay a buck or two more for a more decent package! I would suggest little plastic folders. Paper-like in the back (soft, protecting the CD), transparent plastic on top with a flap to get the CD out (one per CD of course) with two holes on the left side so that you can put them in a book or something. I don't know the exact words for it, but if anyone has seen the Novell Support Connection CD sets, they'll know what I mean! That way, you can put all distro's together in one handy-to-carry booklet.
