I attempted to print one of the Howto Postscript files (*.ps.gz) and ran into the problem that the page headers were being clipped off because my printer is using 8 1/2 x 11 paper (standard American issue) and the PostScript file is apparently set up for European paper. I also tried using dvips on the .dvi file, but that didn't work because the Howto uses some fonts (dcit1000, dcbi1200, etc.) that my TeX installation doesn't know about.
Any suggestions on how to print these things?

Paul,
what I do in these circumstances is to run pstops over the manuscript.
Is there a general description around somewhere of the various PostScript utilities such as pstops, psmerge, psselect, etc? I know I can read the individual man pages, but I'm looking for some unified description and a list of what utilities are available. An inquiring mind wants to know.
