Can someone fix interwiki links on http://wiki.opensuse.org .
To see what I mean check: http://wiki.opensuse.org/SDB:SDB a lot of interwiki links in red.
I don't see what can be fixed here, the links point to non-existing (not yet migrated) pages i would say.
They should not appear as Shayon mentioned, that is how I know that they are not set up.
In the old wiki version (1.5) setup was possible only by direct database manipulation, and instructions that I have found have no other option. That works in en.o.o, so version update didn't change anything. Wiki.o.o is new instance so it needs that setup.
The easiest way is if wiki admin (I guess Matthew) can copy interwiki table from en.o.o to wiki.o.o database.
Ah, ok understood. I added the extension: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SpecialInterwiki that makes it possible to view and edit the interwiki links for admins. I also set $wgInterwikiMagic=true; $wgHideInterlanguageLinks=false; to enable the interwiki language links. Matthew: Could you please deploy the wiki and migrate the interwiki table to wiki.o.o ? Thank you! Greetings
MediaWiki database layout is described here: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Interwiki_table
The other way is using instructions that have warning, but I could not find better: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Guide_to_setting_up_interwiki_linking
In general what are interwiki and interlanguage links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interwiki_links http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Interlanguage_links
