I was said on IRC than wikibots are prone to spam I don't really understand why -do the actual Novell login prevent this?- but anyway we need badly an interwiki link automatic process.
imagine i publish the source... of how much use would be this "protection". if someone would really punish us it wouldnt be too hard to do the auth on their own aswell.
did I ask for that? It's enough to say that the login mechanism is made to prevent automatic login... don't you think the crakers can't figure out better than me :-)
as i said ... describe the tasks you want to get done and we will look into it.
you quoted it right here:
this?- but anyway we need badly an interwiki link automatic process.
the syntax is that: any translated "en" page has it's exact counterpart in the localized wiki, that is a page with the exact same name. in this page is * the actual translation if the page name is international or * a redirect to the real localized page we need to have interwiki links in any page that have a counter part. For example, we need interwiki links in french pages to swedish pages
I understood there are local scripts? but I understand also there will be a relooking, is this related (or is this relooking already in use and I didn't notice?
i still wont publish the code.
who said so? even if I don't really see what is the problem, here. such scripts could serve any mediawiki admin (of course not if there are some specific Novell part) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos
