If you want insert a log, configuration or console output to MediaWiki, you need to wrap the text with <pre></pre> tags. I have updated the page a little bit. You can check it out.
Why is there no indication that there were any of those there before? Why is most of what I tried to add correctly displayed? The old Wiki software was much easier to understand and use.
Hi. I created a set of how-to pages about wiki formatting long ago in the Spanish wiki and they still seem to be working as intended (Firefox 61.0.2). You don't need <pre></pre> tags for multiline pre-formatted text¹, you can use ▒<nowiki> (▒ is a space character at the beginning of the line) and ending </nowiki> in a new line: ▒<nowiki>def function(): """help text""" if True: print True ... </nowiki> The text is, of course, in Spanish, but you can check the result and the page source to see how is everything done: ─ Text format: https://es.opensuse.org/Ayuda:C%C3%B3mo_dar_formato_al_texto ─ Images: https://es.opensuse.org/Ayuda:C%C3%B3mo_a%C3%B1adir_im%C3%A1genes ─ Lists: https://es.opensuse.org/Ayuda:C%C3%B3mo_crear_listas ─ Tables: https://es.opensuse.org/Ayuda:C%C3%B3mo_crear_tablas [1] Unless you want to add some kind of extra formatting to the text (bold, italic, and so on) Greetings. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org
