Re: [opensuse-virtual] autoyast installation in Xen DomUs -- defining /etc/fstab ?

Cant answer your autoyast question.

Are you suggesting that there's no way to use Autoyast to fully specify &
configure a Xen Guests's ftsab?

Since 42.x there is no need for such fstab entries anymore. Some
component of systemd mount them automatically.

That's not entirely accurate. In fact, use of/etc/fstab is
recommended/preferred:

https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.mount.html# fstab

"Mount units may either be configured via unit files, or via /etc/fstab (see
fstab(5) for details). Mounts listed in /etc/fstab will be converted into
native units dynamically at boot and when the configuration of the system
manager is reloaded. In general, configuring mount points through /etc/fstab is
the preferred approach. See systemd-fstab-generator(8) for details about the
conversion."

The example you gave
seem to be the defaults, which are also used by the systemd mount.

And if you want to change those options?

Or if you want to add/modify additional mounts , e.g., under "/" ?

If autoyast isn't capable at all, I'll be quite suprised, but that's of course
useful to know.
