Description:

This update adds eatmydata to the SUSE Package Hub.

#libeatmydata is a small LD_PRELOAD library designed to (transparently)
disable fsync (and friends, like open(O_SYNC)). This has two side-effects:
making software that writes data safely to disk a lot quicker and making
this software no longer crash safe.

This package is useful for increasing the speed of test suites and
continuous integration builds.


Patch Instructions:

To install this openSUSE Optional Update use YaST online_update.
Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:

- SUSE Package Hub for SUSE Linux Enterprise 12:

zypper in -t patch openSUSE-2016-1106=1

To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
