Hm, I’m not sure I understand. To do a msgmerge you’ll need a .pot
file.

applications, to make them available for the translators?

This is the second time today I hear this, yes.


One of the current (and long-standing) problem with the current
translation system was that the developer’s *didn’t* do this. That
is, basically the following thing happened:

And what Karl Eichwalder did was ask one by one those developers for
the pots. By email, phone, whatever. A lot of work.
