Why is this done?

Because through that, we can see what Language is "drafted", "ready" or
"delayed". As you can see in the First Issue on this Site, There i've
placed little "d"s, So everyone can see, that the Work is WIP. If i'm
ready i change the "d"s to "X". So it is clear, that this Issue is
ready.
