the first conon is time.
DVD downloaded md5sum checked with k3b
12.00 start
12.02-very slow, green screen, it seems failed
12.06 hard switch off and retry
12.08 check installation media
12.09 load kernel and long time in:
starting udev... ok
loading basic drivers...
12.12 loading basic drivers... ok
12.23 no error founded in the media
12.24 chosen language englishUK keyboard englishUK
12.26 chosen new installation and use automatic configuration
12.27 chosen region europe time zone italy time was wrong 13.28 instead of 12.28, changed, hardware click to utc
12.29 chosen kde desktop
12.30 partitioning default= dev/sda2 20gb format ext4, sda1 swap, sda3 set mountpoint to /home
12.31 create new user chosen no automatic login
12.31 expert settings = default
12.35 click on install
12.52 still 33% remaining 695 packages
13.38 still 45% 469 packages remaining
14.26 still 56% remaining 299 packages
15.50 finish installation initializing fonts ... install boot manager
15.54 the system will reboot .... shutting down Name Service Daemon
15.57 black screen
16.01 control alt canc = nothing, hard switch off, restart
16.05 starting installation, the previous installation is failed, would you like to continue?? = yes
16.06 preparing 1st system confuguration
16.14 terminated automatic configuration, login screen
16.16 kde desktop!!
-veeeeery slow this installation, about 2 hours, I remember a more -speedy on 11.4 less than 1 hour
-sound ok
-no network, (white cross on red) click on it result plasmoid says "networkmanager is not running, please start it"
-bluetooth active and working
-dolphin, in the places left panel shows all hard disks partitions
-inserting usb key ok, copying from usb key ok, unmounting usb key ok
-click on an mp3 file, ask me to install mp3 support
-libreoffice ok
-it seems everything slow, may be nouveau driver
-click on wav file, amarok ask to install mp3 support, wav sound ok, the + - mute volume buttons don't works, becouse on kmix is set as master channel the High definition audio controller digital stereo (HDMI) instead of internal audio analog stereo, if I set in this way the buttons works
-alps touchpad not recognized, but I already checked with a new kernel here
-fn + arrows to change luminosity ok
