On another system grub does not display the boot menu anymore.
Hmmpf!

The perl-Bootloader had a fix but it should have been installed before.

Package mkinitrd was removed from this other system. I don't think *I*
removed it. Although /sbin/mkinitrd is not found the RPM update
procedure did not display an error at the end (to best of my knowledge).
I tried to boot from the installation media and started the repair
routine. But even this doesn't work. :-(

P.S.: How can I manually re-install mkinitrd package when having started
the rescue system from the installation media?
