Hi!
7.2 will see updates until May. 7.1 is about to be dismissed now with the release of 8.2.
Does this mean I should leave the SuSE distribution on our Alpha machines now? 7.1 is the latest SuSE release available for Alpha, and while I was wondering when to get a newer version, I have been quite happy with my installed SuSE-Alphas. Of course, there is no big problem installing e.g. Debian on the AXP-platform, however, as I have SuSE on some other intel- and sparc-based machines here, it was quite nice to have one distribution with the same installation and update tools on all platforms so far. But maybe you just didn't want to tell us that 8.2 will be available for axp, too....surprise...? ;-) CU, Lars.
