As this list's address suggests, it is a SuSE Security list.
IPTables and IPChains discussions would probably get a better response from the official netfilter list ?!

Yeah, I guess general discussion about security is also OK, as long as it doesn't stray too far from SuSE. However, I don't mean questions to which there are simple or unique answers, and instead discussions of opinions.
