Hi! Read the Postfix FAQ. In essence, if you *only* listen on your 10. eth interface, why whould then SMTP connections work on the other interfaces?? This is a Postfix question and not a SuSe-Security related question. //Anders Holm //PostMaster On Saturday 11 August 2001 14:53, Philipp Snizek wrote:
Dear list users,
I use a postfix MTA as a mail gateway for sending mail only (no mail is received by this server). If I tell postfix to listen on internal lan eth (10.0.0.2) only it cannot tcp-sync to other MTAs on inet eth (192.168.1.100). If I tell postfix to listen on all eths tcp-sync to other MTAs port 25 is no problem. Why can't I close port 25 on inet eth (192.168.1.100)? What did I miss?
thanx in advance, philipp
