never - never open an attachment you don't wait specifically for !

I receive nearly a virus/trojan each day.

for me it's quite easy : I'm french and no of my friends send me messages in
english as the virus/trjan does.

but files like or xxxx.JPG.pif, even exe files! never open,
delete without remorse.

when you receive one, call for attention to others users, show them and they
be much more prudent. I did with my 15 old son and he never got a problem.

in more than 15 years computing mostly with windows, I never got a virus.
Once I had a boot virus on many floppies (caught in my high school) but it
never got inside my hard drive nor the ones I have at school.

say, just after your message, on my box I got this (I send you only partial

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
