Hi,

how can I say a host, that it should not try to identify the name of a ipadress using reverse namelookup.

The nameserver we use has no in-addr. arpa and isn't working with ptr-records. At the moment the hosts will try to identify the name and after a little time they get a timeout.

Thanks for help in advance.

Regards,
Ruprecht
