huh? not at all. No reason you can't have server with 1.2.3.4, 1.2.3.5, etc talking to 10.0.0.1 as their default gateway. Just make sure they know where 10.0.0.1 is, i.e.:
route add -net 10.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 eth0
or
route add -host 10.0.0.1 eth0
i am not sure if you can have 10.0.0.1 serve as a default gateway to 1.2.3.4... what is your netmask going to be? 0.0.0.0? can you have a default gateway several hops away? thanks, -alexm
