Can somebody tell me how to configure openssl-0.9.6 properly ( install-, include path ) so SuSE's 7.0's apache.rpm's SPEC file is happy? openssl installed itself to: /usr/local/ssl and the apache.spec bails out several times due to wrong path references. I had to manually add the following symbolic links to make it happy: /usr/include/openssl -> /usr/local/ssl/include/openssl /usr/local/lib/libssl.a -> /usr/local/ssl/lib/libssl.a /usr/ssl -> /usr/local/ssl /bin/openssl -> /usr/local/ssl/bin/openssl (maybe there is one extra there). there is no reference in SuSE's support database Thanks, Samartha
