[opensuse-project] Announcing the openSUSE board election 2013
This years openSUSE Election Committee is in the pleasant position to announce
the 2013 Board elections[0].
There will be 4 seats to be elected, 2 for a 2 year term, and 2 for a 1 year
term.

The time-line we decided for this years elections is the following:
* 28.10. Start of standing up for candidacy, nominating candidates, apply for
membership
* 18.11. Start of candidates campaign
* 2.12. Ballots open
* 15.12. End of voting
* 16.12. Announcement of the results

If you want to participate in the openSUSE board and influence the future
direction of the project please stand up and announce[1] your
candidacy. If you know someone who you would like to see on the board, feel
free to contact the election officials team ad propose your candidate.

All openSUSE members[2] are eligible to vote. If you are a contributor of
openSUSE but you are not a member yet, apply for membership now[3] and
be a part of the changes to come.
