[opensuse-project] OSEM improvement as gsoc

Hi all, being involved with oSC13 and seeing Matt's effort to create OSEM I thought it would be a great opportunity to help out a bit more actively. I am personally motivated to help in the implementation of such application, as I often organize FOSS events and conferences. Moreover I think it is a great effort, what Matt started, and this platform will be widely useful to be used by FOSS communities for their event planning.
