Re: [opensuse-project] Booster news

So, today, while the team is not at full strength yet, we do have something
to announce. First of all, we've got a new team lead. Some of you might
know him as the Master of Money at KDE: Agustin Benito Bethencourt. He'll
bring some fresh ideas to the team and can help us stay Cool.

I'd like you all to welcome Agustin to his new job and give him your support
and confidence in making the Boosters help openSUSE grow and succeed.
Although he's new to SUSE and openSUSE, he has got a great track record in
boosting Free Software in Spain and in the KDE community already.

And please don't just see him as 'another KDE guy'. I had the pleasure of
working with Agustin when he was the lead organiser of Gran Canaria Desktop
Summit in 2009, and he was always conspiciously even-handed to both desktops.
With GCDS, success depended on the same factors openSUSE is subject to:
effectively and harmoniously bringing together contributions from different
subprojects.</kissing new boss's ass ;)>

Second, to bring all openSUSE efforts in SUSE in one place, I will be
joining the Boosters team. Not much will change and I'll stay in Berlin for
now but I'll be working with them more.

This is news to me! Just kidding. I doubt I can say any more about Jos that
he hasn't already said. I'm sure he'll manage to fit more words into shorter
lines of communication.
