Yes, that is what I thought.

Is it really necessary to have IPv6 in your local network, as you told
you have?

Not absolutely, but I want to try and learn about it. I have some devices
that support it and some that don't.


What I have done is create a /root/.curlrc file with the "--ipv4"
parameter. This might work.
