If you don't have the man power to maintain the current amount of factory
packages there is no way around dropping some.

I don't get this comment.

I refuse to comment on that part besides that we already have something that
can be used for servers quite easily.

That's a good thing, isn't it?

Like e.g. "web yast"? Please just stop wasting resources on such stuff since
there is more important stuff lacking.

AFAIK currently there is no-one outside Novell working on WebYaST and
they will continue "wasting resources" on it, because it is a part of
Novell's strategy. We (as in openSUSE) can't tell Novell to stop working
on that, we can only benefit from it.

3.b.) We will try to do the following effectively:

* provide the openSUSE distro as it is today (no long term support)

Makes me wonder where that LTS part from above went then?

Core will be under LTS, the rest of distro (desktops, applications) will
not be.
