The problems we face are not enough testing and too close to end of cycle when more people start testing. And the other thing about "bugs", is that sometimes it has to be in combination with how you use the machine. I'm finding a relatively smooth experience on my 11.1 box with a few annoying bugs, others are experiencing crashes. Why? Different usage of their machines. It's impossible to come up with every possible scenario for testing.
So... more Testing, Testing, Testing as early on as possible. The extended period for 11.2 might yield better results for us because it gives us all more time to test.
