How to set up or to make linker lib -lXm -lXt -lX11 (automatically or manually)?
Simply add it to your linker command when you invoke it: gcc -o mysuperxprogram mymodule1.o mymodule2.o ... -lXm -lXt -lX11 You might need to tell the linker where it can find those libs. This is what '-L' does. gcc -o mysuperxprogram mymodule1.o mymodule2.o ... -L /usr/X11R6/lib -lXm -lXt -lX11 You might want to write that into a Makefile rather than typing it manually all the time.
Do I have to use yast2 or just ldconfig ?
YaST2 has nothing to do with that, and ldconfig is something you need only when you have installed new libs. CU -- Stefan Hundhammer <sh@suse.de> Penguin by conviction. YaST2 Development SuSE Linux AG Nuernberg, Germany
