Hello!
I did an update of my Suse-10.0 PPC (on my PowerBook G3 Wallstreet - Suse works on it, great! :-) ). This update did change the kernel and related stuff (modules), and I rebooted w/o uploading the kernel to my HFSplus partition (there I need it for BootX).
Can you boot the install kernel, into the rescue system? Boot it with 'rescue=1', then mount the root and hfsplus partiton and copy the /mnt/boot/initrd and /mnt/boot/vmlinux files to the hfs boot partiton. Umount both and update the settings in BootX. -- short story of a lazy sysadmin: alias appserv=wotan
