I would really appreciate it if someone here, who has knowledge of this could help me out, since I'm dying to get my Voodoo3 to work...
It should be possible to use a Voodoo3 on Macs with PCI graphics. Does it appear as tdfxfb in /proc/fb or as OFfb? You can also use 2.4.2, it has tdfx support. If you really have tdfxfb run "sax2 -af", that will create a generic config file. Remove the second 'Section "Device"' and configure the remaining 'Section "Device"' to point to your tdfx card. I think you have to specify 'Option "usefbdev"' with the tdfx driver. Make sure your ServerLayout uses the correct identifiers. xinerama will not work with framebuffer. Good luck.
