Hello, I'm a newbie to this stuff but I thought I'd try a little more with my mac.I got problems in booting between SuSE 7.0 (Kernel 2.2.18) and Mac OS 9.1 on a B&W G3 350 Firmware 1.1f4. I installed SuSE Linux, then I edited the lilo.conf file as said. But as I restart my Mac, I can't get into Linux, I get a warning in small letters in my upper left corner of my screen. Open FirmWare, and it gives me two choices, boot MacOS, or Shutdown. MacOS won't boot. Now the problem is I got SuSE linux on my original 6 GB harddrive, but all my mac partitions, except the boot part for SuSE,are on my 60 GB ATA/100 harddisk connected to a Sonnettech Ultra ATA/66 card, since I can only hook up one harddisk to the motherboard controller in a rev 1 B&W G3. I knew you couldn't install SuSE linux on a harddisk connected to an ATA card, but is there a way to edit the lilo.conf file in a way it will recognize my 18 GB mac partition on the ATA card? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance, Tjeerd
