Hello,

During a FOSS event, this week-end I had contact with a member of the LibreOffice project. He asked me if, in openSUSE, we include a special branding for the Libreoffice suite. I checked and it appears that the package libreoffice-branding-openSUSE is not available anymore in Leap (not maintained ?). Does anyone of you know the reason for it or has any news of the state of this package ?
Looks like we switched to upstream branding 3 years ago:
# osc log -D openSUSE:Factory libreoffice-branding-openSUSE | head -n5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- r19 | dimstar_suse | 2015-08-06 22:15:31 | 64ed675fbbf3227e365ad944bcac3e2d | 4.0 | rq320358
Discussed with richard, we wanna upstream branding. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
rq320358 means https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/320358 which will tell you the same as the package log ;-)
openSUSE 13.2 was the last release with a libreoffice-branding-openSUSE package (see "osc se libreoffice-branding-openSUSE").
Thank you for the answer and reminding me to use "osc log". I should have check the logs of the upstream branding package, glad to know that dropping custom branding was made after a decision and not because it was unmaintained.
